Lindsay Lohan Dropped From ‘Inferno’

Inferno Director Matthew Wilder has signed his name off the waiting list of Lindsay Lohan’s release from rehab – he recently dropped the fallen star from his upcoming movie.

Despite previous assurances that the production was ready and waiting for Lindsay Lohan, it seems that Wilder has grown tired of production standstill for his much-talked-about Linda Lovelace biopic.

“We are withdrawing our offer from Lindsay Lohan,” Wilder says. “We are currently in negotiations [with another actress] and working out the legalities of bringing her on-board.”

“We have stuck by Lindsay very patiently for a long time with a lot of love and support,” Wilder says. “Ultimately, the impossibility of insuring her—and some other issues—have made it impossible for us to go forward.”

Lindsay’s rep added: “Lindsay is dedicated to her recovery and together they decided to move forward without her.”

Not a surprise that the starlet was dropped from a job due to her current position – but is this really a bad thing? Was the porn star bio flick just another negative decision that if completed, could come back to bite her in the butt shortly after release at rehab? Weigh in!
