Leonardo Dicaprio’s Upcoming Kennedy Production ‘Legacy To Secrecy’

Leonardo Dicaprio’s production company has landed the film rights to Legacy of Secrecy, a book accusing the mafia of being behind President John F. Kennedy’s 1963 assassination.

Dicaprio will star in and produce the Warner Bros. thriller, whose full title is Legacy of Secrecy: The Long Shadow of the JFK Assassination.

DiCaprio will play FBI informant Jack Van Laningham who, took part in a dangerous undercover operation to infiltrate the mafia organization of crime boss Carlos Marcello, who was active in Texas and Louisiana during the 1960s.

Legacy of Secrecy is already making early plans to hit theaters in 2013 [which will coincide with the 50th anniversary of the president’s death].
