Justin Timberlake Injury Forces ‘Now’ Shutdown

Justin Timberlake has suffered a leg injury shooting his new film, Now, and in return the studio has temporarily shut down production until he gets back on his feet.

The production team released a statement explaining: “Justin Timberlake sustained a muscle injury to his calf on the set of Andrew Niccol’s thriller Now. Production has taken a brief hiatus and will resume shortly. He hasn’t heard anything about the MRI results, but they’re freezing production until he’s off crutches and able to act again,” says a source.

However, Timberlake has been hobbling around on crutches, but until he drops them, everything’s on hold concerning Niccol’s movie. The film, Now costars Amanda Seyfried and Olivia Wilde.

Until then, Timberlake will just have to enjoy his latest win, as the film The Social Network was just named best picture by the National Board of Review.
