Weekend Box Office Report: December 17th – 19th, 2010

Tron Legacy claimed the #1 spot at the box office this weekend. The Disney-produced sequel to 1982’s cult sci-fi film Tron brought in $43.6 million. The #2 spot was taken by the CGI/live action-hybrid Yogi Bear, which disappointed in its opening weekend with $16.7 million. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Dawn Treader fell two spots to #3 in its second weekend with $12.4 million. The Fighter finished at #4 in its wide release, bringing in $12.2 million. Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie’s The Tourist slipped three spots in its second weekend, coming in at #5 with $8.7 million.
