Oliver Stone And Shia LaBeouf May Reunite For ‘Pinkville’

Director Oliver Stone has discussed reuniting with Shia LaBeouf for Pinkville, a Vietnam War investigative drama about the My Lai massacre of March 1968. LaBeouf’s father was a helicopter pilot in Vietnam and the idea came up on the set of Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.

Pinkville was originally set to start filming three years ago, but got put on hold due to the Writers Guild strike. The cast at that time included Bruce Willis, Channing Tatum, Michael Pena, Woody Harrelson, Xzibit, Michael Pitt, Toby Jones, Jason Behr and Cam Gigandet.

LaBeouf would likely take over for Tatum as Hugh Thompson, the U.S. Army helicopter pilot who stopped the massacre.
