‘Breaking Dawn’ Aims For PG-13 Honeymoon Scene

Real-life couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have been hard at work on the intimate scenes of Breaking Dawn. While the fans have high expectations for these scenes, producer Wyck Godfrey assures Twilight fans that the honeymoon scene will be handled sensitively.

“Even though their physical relationship goes way beyond what was shown in the first three films, it does not become soft porn. It is a legitimate and important part of the movie, romantic and sensual,” Godfrey commented in a recent interview.

While adult Twilight fans would love to see a little bit more of the honeymoon scene than what was depicted in the book, Godfrey explains that the film is aiming for a PG-13 rating. “It would be a crime against our audience to go R-rated.” Godfrey explained, “This is based on a much more mature book. We need to progress and be more sophisticated.”
