Mila Kunis Joins ‘The Great and Powerful Oz’

Mila Kunis has dropped out of the live-action adaptation of ‘Akira’ in favor of Sam Raimi’s ‘The Great and Powerful Oz’. Vulture reports that Kunis will be joining James Franco in the ‘Wizard of Oz’ prequel, which centers on the origins of the Wizard and witches of Oz.

Kunis would be playing Theodorah, the younger sister of [the Wicked Witch of the East] who eventually becomes the Wicked Witch of the West.
