Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s ‘Dark Knight Rises’ Role Confirmed

Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s role in The Dark Knight Rises has been revealed. Variety reports that Gordon-Levitt will be playing Alberto Falcone. Falcone is the son of mob boss Carmine Falcone (Tom Wilkinson) and in the comic books is also the “Holiday Killer.”

Gordon-Levitt is currently filming Looper with Bruce Willis and Emily Blunt. His work on The Dark Knight Rises is rumored to begin this summer. The actor’s summer schedule has remained open since he first started talks for film, or at least those that we heard about, last month.
