Malin Akerman Joins ‘Rock of Ages’

Malin Akerman(Watchmen) has joined the cast of Rock of Ages. She will play a journalist who, attempting to do a story on Cruise’s rock star character, winds up spending the night with him.

The film follows two people who meet at the Sunset Strip club “Rock of Ages” and fall for one another against the backdrop of ’80s rock anthems.

Already starring are Cruise, Mary J. Blige, Julianne Hough, Paul Giamatti, Diego Bonet, Russell Brand, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Bryan Cranston.
