Scarlett Johansson Signs On For John Carney Musical ‘Can A Song Save Your Life’

Scarlett Johansson has signed on for a new musical from the writer/director of Once, John Carney. The musical is called Can A Song Save Your Life and will also be produced by Judd Apatow.

Carney said: “I’ve been writing it for a year and a half. I went out to Los Angeles to meet Scarlett a couple of months ago. She was everything you could imagine – very hot, elegant and she’s really smart.”

No one else has been cast yet, but the movie will begin production next year.
