Weekend Box Office Report: ‘Breaking Dawn’ Still In #1

For a third straight weekend, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 held onto the #1 spot at the box office grossing $16.9 million. The Muppets dropped heavily in its second weekend but held onto the #2 spot grossing $11.2 million. Expanding by 563 theaters, Martin Scorsese’s Hugo moved up two spots to #3 in its second weekend with $7.6 million. Arthur Christmas held even at #4 in its second weekend, bringing in $7.4 million. Happy Feet Two fell two spots to #5 in its third week, pulling in $6.0 million.
