‘Vacation’ Reboot Gets Directors And Possible New Clark Griswold

The long-gestating Vacation reboot has founds its directors! John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, who wrote Horrible Bosses, will direct and write the script.

The original film starred Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo as Clark and Ellen, who are trying to enjoy a vacation and have hijinks go down. The reboot will focus on their son Rusty, now a grown man, who tries to take his own family to Wally World before it closes.

Ed Helms (The Office) is in talks to star in the reboot. He would play Clark Griswold, the role Chevy Chase made famous in the original.

Sounds awesome to us!

  1. I love Vacation! And it’s good to hear they got some good people to work on it already, so I’ll be open to watching this new one.
