Two ‘Chucky’ Movies In The Works

Brad Dourif revealed some interesting information at The Mad Monster Party show in Charlotte, North Carolina, during a Child’s Play reunion panel featuring Dourif, Alex Vincent and Chris Sarandon.

Dourif said that there is a remake of Child’s Play and a spinoff involving his family called Revenge of Chucky. Dourif said he’s involved in both projects but hasn’t seen a script for the remake yet.

No more information was revealed about Revenge of Chucky. The remake is being put together by creators Don Mancini and David Kirschner who are trying to make a “scarier” take on the original film. Mancini will direct. When MGM went bankrupt, it put the remake on hold, but now that the studio is running again there may be more interest.
