‘The Good Shepherd’ Series In The Works For Showtime

Showtime is developing a TV series version of The Good Shepherd.

Robert De Niro had wanted to produce a sequel to his movie from 2006 but will be making a TV show instead. Eric Roth, who wrote the original movie, is also writing and producing the new series. De Niro is set to direct the pilot episode. It’s not yet known if this will be a reboot of the original movie or a continuation.

The original The Good Shepherd starred De Niro, Matt Damon, and Angelina Jolie.
