  1. The only movies i’ve seen from the above nominations are The Hobbit, Skyfall, Life of Pi, Moonrise kingdom, Prometheus and the Avengers.
    I will be rooting for Life of pi because i loved the book and the move, both equally.

    Bye the way, I still haven’t seen the Perks of being a wallflower but am i the only one upset about it not getting any nominations? seriously what a shame.

  2. “Beasts of the Southern Wild”??? I love the Oscars and always make an attempt to catch up with the nominated films before the awards ceremony. However, it gets difficult when little-known things like the above-mentioned film get nominated and are NOT playing anywhere I’d be able to view them.

    It’s a bit early for me to make my picks yet, but “Zero Dark Thirty” seems to be the odds on favorite to win and I do think Daniel Day Lewis is a shoe in for Best Actor.
