BBC Confirms – John Simm Will Return To ‘Doctor Who’

The BBC has confirmed that actor John Simm will reprise his role in the final David Tennant ‘Doctor Who’ episodes. Simm confirmed the news at yesterday’s ‘Doctor Who’ panel at the Comic Con convention in San Diego – a panel which had fans lining up 5 hours in advance!

BBC’s official comment: “At the close of series three we saw the Master gunned down by his wife and whilst lying in his enemy’s arms, he refused to regenerate. The world believed he had died and The Doctor accepted he was the last of the Time Lords. But this is Doctor Who and you can’t keep a good bad guy down!”

  1. Well, we saw the wife pick up the ring at the end of series 3 and my husband and I speculated at the time that perhaps the ring also functions like the pocke**ch.

I had seen a photo of John Simm and Timothy Dalton on the set of the upcoming special, so it’s no surprise that Simm will be back.
