Interview: Ashley Greene & Kellan Lutz from Twilight

FanBolt was on hand at the Atlanta stop of the Twi/Tour which featured special guest appearances by: Peter Facinelli, Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, Billy Burke, and director Catherine Hardwicke. The cast members were welcomed by hundreds of devoted fans who were able to take part in Q/A sessions, photo ops, and autograph sessions with the cast. We have some of those question and answers for you below!

What music would you like to see on the ‘New Moon’ soundtrack?

Ashley Greene: Paramore, Kings of Leon… if they’re on the soundtrack I get to meet them right? (laughs)

What are you obsessed with?

Ashley Greene: Cheeses and my dog. I always get those cheese baskets, and I tell people not send them because I will eat the whole thing! I also always have my mouth to one side. I don’t know why.

Kellan Lutz: Candy and lip balm. I also have to count to 10 when I’m drinking from a fountain. I don’t know why… (laughs)

Favorite Vacation Spot?

Ashley Greene: I friggin’ loved Italy. But there is nothing like going back home. I just bought a place on the beach in Jacksonville.

Who do you really want to be interviewed by?

Ashley Greene: Chelsea Handler. I’m dying to go on her show.

Favorite scene in ‘Twilight’?

Ashley Greene: The baseball scene. Jumping from the ledge and ripping James’ head off wasn’t too bad either.

Kellan Lutz: For me it was the scenes they didn’t catch on film. Like me stealing the Jeep and doing donuts in the woods, then them catching me and yelling at me, and then me doing it again. I really loved that Jeep.

Most awkward scene?

Ashley Greene: Watching Rob try to run (laughs). It was just so bad.

Kellan Lutz: They had Rob tied up to the wires, and he would start running and we all thought he was joking. The he would come up to me out of breath and ask, “What’s so funny man?” And I was like, “Are you serious?”

What’s the actor you most look up to?

Kellan Lutz: Robert Redford.

What was the most challenging scene in ‘New Moon’?

Ashley Greene: Not hitting the walls or people with the Porsche.

Most embarrassing moment on ‘Twilight’?

Ashley Greene: Thank God they didn’t have a blooper reel on the DVD. For me it’s just like walking and tripping.

Kellan Lutz: There was this one time I was at the hotel and I had just got of the shower. There was a knock at the door and I thought it was Ashley. Instead I opened up the door to two fans while only wearing a towel.

Who was your role model growing up?

Ashley Greene: My brother. We did a lot of things together like martial arts.

What is your dream role?

Kellan Lutz: To be the next Jason Bourne. I love what Matt Damon did with role. I’d just love to be the next American action star.

What would you do for a Klondike bar?

Ashley Greene: What wouldn’t Kellan do for a Klondike bar.

Kellan Lutz: I’ve never actually had one. Now ask me what I would do for a mile long gummy bear… or a pool full of gummy bears… I’d do a lot!
