Review:
The beloved series treks on with the release of South Park: The Complete 11th Season DVD set. The exclusive uncensored DVD set comes with all 14 episodes as well as mini-commentaries by the creators of the series. Arguably the strongest season yet, this season covers everything from nuclear annihilation, to racial controversy, to discovering the secret behind the Easter Bunny.

The highlight of this Season was the 3-part “Imaginationland” which received much hype and even a separate DVD release. The boys are transported to a magical realm where terrorists are preparing to launch an attack that will release the most evil characters imaginable. The boys try save the citizens of the realm and also prevent nuclear annihilation, and they find themselves looking to a rather unlikely hero… Butters.

But there’s more to Season 11 than just the episodic trilogy. The boys make fun of everything from Guitar Hero (Guitar Queer-o) to Tourette’s syndrome (which Carman fakes having in “Le Petit Tourette”). While the extras on the release aren’t too impressive, the series speaks for itself in quality and with another season to their credit, they’ve simply mastered hysterical offensiveness. Fans will undoubtedly love this latest release as much if not more than the previous seasons.
