Tyra Banks Quits Her Daytime Talkshow

Tyra Banks has publicly announced to People Magazine that she is ending her daytime talkshow ‘The Tyra Show.’ The series will wrap this spring after the 5th season finishes.

“I’ve been loving having fun, coming into your living rooms, bedrooms, hair salons for the past five years. My next huge steps will allow me to reach more women and young girls to help us all feel as fierce as we truly are.” Banks explained.

A source close to Banks commented, “With Oprah’s big announcement this year, I think that gave Tyra the confidence to get out there and follow her long-time dream of film producing.”

Banks left a note to her fans on her website saying, “There’s a lot cooking right now and a lot of fire burning in my heart, and I salute you, my amazing family of viewers; without you there never would have been a Tyra Show. I really love you all.”
