NBC Picks Up ‘The Cape’

According to reports, NBC has picked up the “light drama” titled ‘The Cape’. ‘The Cape’ was created by ‘Empire’ creator Tom Wheeler. The show is centered in a “fictional” Los Angeles, where a former cop who when framed for a crime becomes the Cape, a masked hero, to clear his name and reunite with his son. The project was originally set up in the fall, with a script written by Wheeler.
