Judge Marsha Revel has ruled that Lindsay Lohan was in violation of her probation for driving under the influence yesterday. The judge granted the prosecutor’s request that Lohan be jailed for 90 days, and she must surrender herself to do the time on July 20th. After she completes her time in jail, she has to immediately attend a 90 day in-patient drug and alcohol rehab program.
Lindsay gave a tearful statement before the ruling where she said she felt she was in compliance, but the judge was unmoved. She broke down in tears after the judge issued her ruling.
According to Sheriff’s spokesperson Steve Whitmore, female inmates in Lindsay Lohan’s situation usually serve only 25% of their sentence, which means roughly 25 days.
