Robert Pattinson Speaks About The Vibe On The ‘New Moon’ Set

Robert Pattinson spoke on what the experience of working with ‘New Moon’ director Chris Weitz was like as well as what the vibe was like on set in comparison to ‘Twilight’.

“I mean, it wasn’t just the director that made this one different. It was so different as well because we kind of knew what type of animal that we were dealing more.” Pattinson explained.

But as fans of the ‘Twilight’ saga know, Pattinson’s character is barely in the entire 2nd book. However, Summit Entertainment knows better than to not have their main star in the sequel to last fall’s ‘Twilight’.

“I was much more of a supporting role in this one. I started three weeks after they started shooting and I did a lot of my first scenes – the apparition scenes. Which involved me doing maybe one word a week. It was actually one of the most relaxing jobs that I’ve ever done.” Pattinson commented.

Pattinson admitted that for him the filming experience this time around – and the vibe on set for him was pretty chill, “Chris has a really peaceful presence and I got on really well with him. I had a pretty much stress free job for three months. It was great for me. All the pressure was on Taylor.”

‘New Moon’ is due out on November 20th!
