‘New Moon’ Star Has Fans Fainting

‘New Moon’ star Alex Meraz is apparently getting a taste of the ‘Twilight’ mania. The actor recently revealed that fans of the saga are fainting when they meet him.

“I’ve had fainters. You know, I’ve had fans faint,” Meraz told OK magazine. “I did [an appearance] in Miami and we had, like, three girls who threw up because they were screaming so loud for us! I was like, ‘Wow’. I didn’t even know that was physically possible. That’s when you know you made it!”

Meraz also added that the fans have been incredibly respectful, and that he tries to include them in whatever he can.

‘New Moon’ is now in theaters.
