Katie Couric Wants To Be On ‘DWTS’

“Dancing With the Stars” premieres Monday night — with one less potential star.

“My secret fantasy, sadly, is to be on ‘Dancing With the Stars,'” Katie Couric told UsMagazine.com at their 25 Most Stylish New Yorkers party last week.

Holding her back? “Those skimpy outfits!” admitted the CBS “Evening News” anchor. “Seriously, it’d be like, ‘Paging Jenny Craig, stat!'”

Couric isn’t a huge fan of reality shows, though, unlike her daughter (she has two: Elinor, 19, and Caroline, 13, with deceased husband Jay Monahan), who is a big fan of E!’s Kim Kardashian.

“My daughter watches Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” said Couric.
