Courtney ‘Love’ Is Dead

Courtney Love is dead,” the rock goddess tells NME Magazine this week. She goes on to say how everyone around her has expressed their dislike for her, and she’s moving on to a better life and a new name to kick it off.

Courtney Michelle, a derivative of her real name, which is Courtney Michelle Harrison, is the only name the star says she will answer to from here on out.

It may do her some good. She is trying to make an effort to forget the person we are see her as, Courtney Love, the byproduct of years of destructive living. If she really will stick with the plans, she may just increase her fanbase back to an earlier stage of her fame.

Though it seems her record label missed the memo. Last week, they announced a new Hole summer tour — led by “Courtney Love.”
