Michael C. Hall Is Fully Recovered From Cancer

Michael C. Hall, Golden Globe-winning star of Showtime’s “Dexter,” is “fully recovered” and has returned to work, according to co-star and wife Jennifer Carpenter. She tells the Associated Press that Hall was “incredibly brave” during his cancer treatments.

Hall announced back in January that he had been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and would start undergoing treatment. At that time, Hall’s rep Craig Bankey said that the cancer was in remission and treatment would continue as planned. This came just four days before Hall won his first Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Television Series, Drama for his work on “Dexter.” He had been nominated the previous three years.

Carpenter and Hall, though married in real life, play siblings Debra and Dexter Morgan on the popular Showtime dramedy about a serial killer with a heart of gold. “Dexter” is currently in production on its fifth season, which should start airing in August 2010.
