Bret Michaels Back in Hospital

According to his rep, Bret Michaels was rushed to the hospital again this week after complaining of “numbness on the left side of his body, predominately his face and hands.”

After a battery of tests, the conclusion was that Bret had suffered a “Transient Ischemic Attack” — more commonly referred to as a “warning stroke.” They also discovered a hole in Bret’s heart. Doctors say the condition is both operable and treatable, and say that they don’t think the warning stroke was related to the subarachnoid hemorrhage that Bret suffered in April.

Bret’s rep says that the rocker is in “good spirits, great medical hands and is positive and hopeful that everything is going to be OK,” adding “He is up, walking, talking, continuing his daily rehab and very happy to be alive but he has made it clear he is sick and tired of being in the hospital and is ready to rock again.”
