Taylor Momsen Lashes Out Technology Bearing Fans

In the wake of her caught-on-film indecent exposure at a show last week, Taylor Momsen makes it clear that she’d rather fans go without all the technology.

At a recent Pretty Reckless-hosted launch of Tokidoki x Onitsuka Tiger Collaboration, Taylor lashed out at anyone with a cell phone or camera, saying:

“I know this is the modern age and everyone’s got cameras and cell phones and video cameras,” Momsen told both the paparazzi and camera-wielding fans. “But I’d really appreciate it if you’d put that f–king s–t down.”

“I know it’s very cool to videotape and put it on YouTube the next day,” she went on. “But, frankly, it completely takes away from the show. I’d thoroughly appreciate it if you’d put that s–t down and put your hands in the air…I want everyone’s hands in the f–king air.”

Fans, let’s hear some input. Obviously, the cost of being a celebrity is constant publicity, so should fans and paparazzi have to put away the cell phones and cameras? Or should Momsen restrain herself from words and actions that could cause publicity she isn’t out to get? After all, a huge part of stardom is keeping your name in the hot seat. Weigh in!
