A ‘Goodfellas’ TV Series

Nicholas Pileggi is set to write a script for a pilot episode of a new show based on Goodfellas. Pileggi wrote the original book and the script for Martin Scorsese’s movie.

The original film starred Ray Liotta, Robert De Niro, and Joe Pesci as mobsters.

Scorsese’s ‘Boardwalk Empire’ has already been renewed for a second season on HBO after the premiere episode did big ratings.
