Shannen Doherty Loses Her Dad

Shannen Doherty has had to say goodbye to, in her own words, “the greatest man in the world”.

The actress’s father, John Thomas Doherty, died on Friday at 66. He had been in poor health for some time and, not long before his daughter’s appearance on Dancing With the Stars, had suffered a stroke.

“I love him with every inch of my being and cannot imagine life without him,” said Doherty in a statement.
