Mel Gibson Ordered To Whip Out His Checkbook

Actor Mel Gibson and baby mama Oksana Grigorieva were in court again this past Wednesday to address their ongoing dispute, and finally some leadway was made.

L.A. Superior Court Judge Scott Gordon ordered Gibson to pay roughly $60,000 in back child support. The $20,000 monthly payments initially ordered of him had recently been held back via himself while he figured out whether he could subtract $6,000 rent from it for the house Grigorieva lives in with her mother and Lucia [from child support payments? Come on, Mel!] Obviously, the judge ordered that the $6,000 was not deductible.

Also, and probably the deal of the day for tabloids everywhere, the judge denied Gibson’s request for a gag order that would prevent all parties — including their lawyers — from discussing the case publicly [not very smart Judge Gordon].

Another hearing is scheduled for Nov. 22., but with the gag order denied, we obviously won’t be seeing a decline of the babymama drama tabloid stories anytime soon. Fans, are you still even interested in the madness? Or is it all getting a little old? Weigh in!
