Kristen Stewart Doesn’t Like Being Interviewed

It’s no secret that Kristen Stewart has never been a fan of the spotlight. The actress has recently spoke out again saying that she believes her job is only to act, not to talk to the media. However, in efforts to be better at the interviewing process, Stewart has had a couple training classes that apparently didn’t go over so well.

“I do my work, same as you, why do I have to talk about it? I just want to be an actor. You think you’re going to put sound bites in my mouth.” Stewart recently commented to Hollyscoop, “I had an interview training session and was I was, ‘F*** you. You think you’re going to put soundbites in my mouth?'”

Stewart has been known to be rather uncomfortable with the media for sometime. The Twilight actress was last criticized for a comment she made about the paparazzi back in May saying, “It’s so… The photos are so.. I feel like I’m looking at someone being raped. A lot of the time I can’t handle it. It’s f**ked. I never expected that this would be my life.”

Shortly after Stewart made the comment she issued an apology.

Clearly actors and actresses are always going to be required to talk to the media about their work in order to promote the projects they’re attached to. Do you think Kristen’s view is reasonable. Is her only job to act and not to talk to the media? Sound off below with your thoughts!

  1. She’s just as awkward and misanthropic in real life as her character is in the movies! Sorry, darling. Being a professional means you don’t have the luxury of flying under the radar. You’re in sales no matter what industry you’re in.
