ABC’s ‘My Generation’ To Be Cancelled
ABC’s My Generation is the second new fall TV series to be canceled after the show failed to connect with youngsters.
An extensive marketing campaign [including a sponsored Twitter trend and a virtual bundle of billboard and bus ads], ABC reps confirm that My Generation episodes have been pulled from the network’s schedule.
My Generation was a documentary-style show set in Texas that followed the lives of adults that were previously interviewed and filmed in school as teens. Real world events, such as 9/11, were focused on as the turning points of some of the character’s personal lives.
No word yet on what might replace My Generation in ABC’s 8 p.m. on Thursday time slot.
