Reese Witherspoon Didn’t Wear White On Her Wedding Day

Reese Witherspoon wasn’t wearing a white dress on her wedding day. No, the Water For Elephants star was wearing a beautiful pale pink gown custom-designed by Monique Lhuillier. To finish off the ensemble was a pair of satin Jimmy Choo platform sandals which have a mere price tag of…. $675!

Her groom, Jim Toth, was sporting a gray Rag & Bone suit. The pair exchanged vows on Witherspoon’s Ojai, California ranch.

So are the magazines going to be making a big deal out the color Witherspoon was wearing? After all it was her second marriage… But we think the starlet will be fine!

“White is totally fine, but so are other colors,” Julie Raimondi, editor in chief of Brides.com told Us Weekly concerning Witherspoon’s pale pink choice.

Not that Witherspoon totally avoided that traditional hue during her rustic, country-themed fete. When it came time for the reception (complete with sit-down dinner, dancing and s’mores!) with family and A-listers like Scarlett Johansson and Renee Zellweger, Witherspoon changed into a short, white cocktail dress.
