Is Taylor Swift Dating ‘Tron’ Star Garret Hedlund?

Is Taylor Swift dating TRON: Legacy star Garrett Hedlund? Well, we have it on good authority they did go out on date in Nashville on April 1st!

Hedlund has been working on recording a CD in Nashville, and word has it that the two had been talking for awhile via email when Swift suggested that they should go out.

“It was their first time going out,” a source told Us Weekly, “They’ve been emailing for a while, and she hinted they should get together. She has actually spent time getting to know Garrett. He’s cute and he’s into country music! [She] likes that he’s a normal guy.”

Hedlund met up with Swift at 8pm on April’s Fool Day ( we have to admit we think this is a bad day for a first date! ), and he was back at his hotel around 12:30am. Swift picked up Entertainer of the Year at the Academy of Country Music Awards two days later, and is set to continue her “Speak Now” tour on May 27th.

We have to admit we’re hopeful that if the two start dating – that it works out! We’re ready to see Taylor happy! And even though Jake, John, and Joe were inspirations for her music (which we love!)… our favorite country girl deserves to have a boy make her smile!

    It says SHE asked him out, just like she did Chord. I also read that her mom said she couldn’t date Chord because he is too much a player. Wonder if she ever waits for the guy to ask her out first?
