Hugh Hefner Letting Crystal Harris Keep 3-Carat Engagement Ring

Hugh Hefner has let Crystal Harris keep her engagement ring. Harris, 25, called off the wedding to the Playboy boss less than one week before they were due to tie the knot (the wedding would have taken place last Saturday). Harris reportedly tried to return the ring, but was told by Hefner that she could keep the 3-carat diamond ring.

Hefner, 85, has since revealed on Twitter that he is “happy to be single.”

“After all is said & done, staying single is probably the best. I think I just missed a bullet. It’s the start of a new day, and a new week, and I’m happy to be single.” Hefner revealed.

A little soon to be happy about being single when your wedding was supposed to be less than a week ago don’t you think?

Despite claiming to be alone, Hugh is thought to be getting close with Anna Sophia Berglund – Crystal’s best friend in the Playboy mansion.

“Anna is Crystal’s best friend & mine as well. She’s the one who helped me survive this past week. She’s the best.” Hefner tweeted.

Best friend? Ouch! We wish both parties the best, and when all is said and done – we’re sure that Hugh has enough pretty ladies around him that he’ll have no problem mending his broken heart. But honestly, we have to admit we’ve been skeptical of this engagement from the start. Was he really going to marry Crystal after such a short time when he didn’t propose to longtime girl friend Holly Madison years before. We just didn’t see it happening.
