PSN To Be Down For A ‘Day Or Two’
Around 9PM EST last night, Sony made a blog post acknowledging that their PSN service is having problems.
The PSN service, which reaches over 70 million PS3 and PSP users has been taken offline. Sony hasn’t released a reason why the service is down again, but it is unlikely that Anonymous, the hackers who took down PSN for a day or two earlier this month, have any connection with these problems. The group claimed they would stop their attack on the PSN network and Sony “until a method is found that will not severely impact Sony customers,”
Sony plans to have the problem fully resolved in a day or two.
