Oprah’s Daily Show Surprise

The recently deemed ‘gift-giving-talk-show-queen’ appeared this week on The Daily Show and proved that you don’t have to be a member of just her studio audience to experience her gift of giving!

Oprah appeared via satellite and announced to Jon Stewart fans that she was treating the entire studio audience to a free trip to Washington, D.C., for his “Rally to Restore Sanity”[which has recently been renamed the “Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear”], on Oct. 30.

“I think that we need a little bit more sanity in the world,” Winfrey said. “I wanted to show my support for you, Jon, and also for your audience. So here’s what I did: I had my staff sneak into your studio early this morning with a little gift.”

Audience members were then instructed to look under their seats where they found red envelopes, each of which contained free tickets to the rally, plane tickets and hotel accommodations.

Clearly, Oprah Winfrey is not a member of the Colbert Nation.
