So we’ve got a wagonload of trailers for you below, including launch trailers for Yakuza Dead Souls and Ninja Gaiden 3. A GDC trailer for Jet Set Radio HD, and a Signature Edition Trailer for Ghost Recon Future Soldier. However, to start things off we have some big Microsoft news, in three parts.

First off, some mixed news, more achievements for you! Microsoft has confirmed via Major Nelson that all Xbox Live Arcade titles will be getting a boost next month to the amount of available gamerscore they can hand out. From 200 to 400 and up to 30 total achievements. This will becomes mandatory for all games in June. They appear to be working on the changes already however, and some users were reporting losing gamerscore. The issue has since been resolved.

Following, this up we have a rumor, or what is supposedly a “leak”. This rumor from MCVUK states that the next Microsoft console won’t have a disc drive. The rumor is supposedly from a partner who was supposed to be under NDA and leaked the information. The rumor does somewhat mesh with previous rumors that the Xbox 360 would not allow for used game sales, and the idea the Microsoft may not want to pay royalties for the use of Blu-ray. Still, it’s a huge gamble if true, so take this with a grain of salt.

Finally, hot on the heels of the announcement that Peter Molyneux would be leaving Microsoft, we get news that Phil Harrison will be joining them. Contrary to the way it’s been reported on most news sites however, he WILL NOT be replacing Molyneux. As stated by the excerpt from their press release below and MajorNelson on Twitter today,

Major Nelson
“FAQ:Is Phil Harrison replacing Peter Molyneux? A: No. Phil’s role on the IEB leadership team is completely unrelated to Peter’s departure.”

Press Release Excerpt
Microsoft Corp. today announced that Phil Harrison, video games luminary and former Sony executive, has joined the Interactive Entertainment Business (IEB) leadership team as corporate vice president, with an emphasis on growing the division’s European business.
