Rob Schneider Returning To TV With CBS Sitcom

Actor Rob Schneider is preparing to star in his first series regular TV role in 13 years – and produce it at the same time!

The ‘Saturday Night Live’ alum has signed with CBS to star in and produce a comedy loosely inspired by his life. The show will focus on a solitary man who marries into a huge Mexican-American family.

The last television series the actor starred in was NBC’s remake of the British sitcom, ‘Men Behaving Badly,’ which was canceled in 1997 after two seasons.

As of the moment, the show remains without a title.

But the question is: with all the reality television series out there right now, is there any room for a comedy largely centering around an actor’s life? Will you be watching?
