J.K. Rowling Won’t Rule Out More ‘Harry Potter’

J.K. Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series, announced today on the Oprah Winfrey show that continuing on with the series is a possibility.

“[The characters] are all still in my head. I mean, I could write. I could definitely write an eight, ninth, tenth. I could, easily,” says Rowling.

When Oprah pops the question fans were waiting for, “You could. Will you?”, Jo responds swiftly with the following, “I’m not going to say I won’t. I don’t think I will. I loved writing those books. I loved writing it. So I feel I am done, but you never know.”

But after Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, just how would fans feel about returning to Hogwarts? Would you be in line for the new novel, or are you happy with the present day ending we’ve all come to accept?

  1. Yeah I agree, at this point I think continuing it would be like a sequel just to make more money, and that usually dilutes the quality. But that’s just my take. I’m sure a lot of people would love more.
