  1. I probably won’t be tunning in, not the biggest fan of CW in general, and not a fan of the premise of the show, as it seems like they have done a lot of shows with people losing weight for wedding, looks similar to those shows, with just some minor differences.

  2. CW has had some horrible reality shows. I remember Hitched or Ditched. Lives unraveled, lots of crying, and the occasional happy ending. It was rather depressing. 🙂

  3. Exactly Emma, it would bring a lot of people back to that network. It seems like the majority of TV shows I hear about are reality shows, which I know some people like, but I prefer a fiction based TV show with actors playing characters.

  4. I miss the WB, I was actually watching the ‘WB Goodbye’ promotions the other day on YouTube [stumbled across them somehow]. That was my teenage years’ network! I do like the CW though, but I though the two networks did better separately. I love reality shows on the other hand, so I may be checking this one out, The Fairy Jobmother for example is such a great new reality due to the economy right now.

  5. There are some reality shows I like. None of which have been on CW though. haha 🙂 I have to admit I LOVED the original Girls Next Door… and I will usually watch any of the Kardashian episodes when I notice they’re on. I keep getting emails about The Hasselhoffs – which I haven’t developed an opinion on yet. And I loved The Hills – not sure how much of that was a reality show though… That being said. It doesn’t get any better than this – WB Promo: 2000.Roswell, Felicity, Dawsons Creek… Gossip Girl, 90210, and the other shows of today just don’t match up in my opinion. But perhaps I feel that way because I’m no longer in that demographic. I don’t know. What do you guys think?

  6. Just watched that one the other night! But I have to admit, I’m a bigger fan of this one : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRoMCKNhf3M&feature=related Felicity, Dawson’s Creek, Charmed, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Popular, Gilmore Girls – all those are shows that just cannot be replaced. I think they were so amazing though because that was the first time someone had made a show about them – once it’s been done, it’s done, which is why I think the new age shows just don’t live up to WB lovers expectations. I’d give anything for those shows to have kept on going till I was 40!

  7. While we’re talking about favorite promos – WB: Faces 1999 is my favorite. This is just the 20second one though. The longer one on YouTube has had the audio track removed because of copyright. The music actually makes me teary eyed. 🙂 Perhaps you’re right though, maybe it’s just because they’ve been done that the new ones don’t seem the same. I guess that’s what DVDs are for 🙂
