Jennifer Esposito Becomes ‘Blue Blood’ Series Regular

Jennifer Esposito has been promoted to series regular on Blue Bloods, CBS announced Thursday.

This is great news for fans of her character Detective Jackie Curatola [who came on the scene this past October]. Having Donnie Wahlberg’s Danny Reagan as a partner doesn’t hurt her like-ability a bit either.

“Jennifer is a wonderful addition to the cast,” executive producer Leonard Goldberg said in a statement. “She brings creativity and energy to the set every day and is a perfect match for Donnie Wahlberg’s character. We are thrilled to have her on the Blue Bloods team.”

Esposito previously appeared in such films as Don’t Say a Word, Crash and and instant teenage horror flick, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.

Blue Bloods airs Fridays at 10/9c on CBS.
