Lips Land Street Name Honor In Oklahoma City
Rockers THE FLAMING LIPS have been honored in their native Oklahoma City, Oklahoma – with a street.
The City Council has renamed a street in the trendy Bricktown district Flaming Lips Alley to honor their favorite sons.
The official dedication ceremony will take place on Thursday (25Oct07).
The Mayor of Oklahoma City, Mick Cornett, will present the official street sign to the band.
