Cowell Offers Support To Troubled Spears

Music mogul SIMON COWELL has offered his unrelenting support to BRITNEY SPEARS, and is urging the troubled pop star to call him whenever she needs someone to talk to.

The American Idol judge, 48, is convinced the Toxic singer can still salvage her flailing music career, despite her mounting personal problems.

And Cowell is eager to lend a helping hand.

He says, “It looks like she’s out of control.

“She’s got to have someone in her life to listen to. She’s welcome to call me anytime.”

Spears is currently locked in a custody battle with her ex-husband Kevin Federline over young sons Sean Preston and Jayden James. She had her visitation rights suspended indefinitely on Monday (14Jan08) after failing to show up for her latest custody hearing. Federline was awarded sole legal and physical custody of their two sons after Spears’ apparent breakdown earlier this month (Jan08), when she refused to hand back one-year-old Jayden to Federline’s aid after a scheduled visit.
