1965 – The Rolling Stones appeared alongside Jackie De Shannon, Sonny and Cher and Jimmy Rodgers on “Shindig!”

1969 – John Lennon and Yoko Ono kicked off their ten-day “bed-in” at Montreal’s Queen Elizabeth Hotel.

1975 – Deep Purple released their autobiographical anthem “Smoke On The Water.”
