Michael Jackson Fans Gather At Liverpool Street Station

Hundreds of Michael Jackson fans gathered outside Liverpool Street Station yesterday (June 26th) in tribute. The idea was to have a mass moonwalk inside the station, but when police refused to allow it inside, the fans were moved outside. While a mass moonwalk wasn’t really possible, fans sang Jackson’s, Billie Jean, Thriller and Bad.

Organizer Milo Yiannopoulos sorted out the event through Twitter and Facebook in only a few hours, so the turn out, which included tv personality Gail Porter, was an amazing feat.

  1. Wow, within a few hours of Twitter and Facebook. The power of fast communication combined with a desire to SHOW support to a great performer resulted in this.

    WoW.

Imagine if it had enough time like a full 24 hours, how many people would have turned out?

Then across the world people would stop at a predetermeined time to moon-walk. *giggle* How great would that be?

  2. MJ is the king. Anytime i listen his records i feel as he is still alive. Definitely one of the most significant pop music celebrities ever!
