T.I. Gets 11 Months In The Slammer

Rapper T.I. will be heading back to federal prison for violating his probation in it’s last month due to his bust in L.A. on suspicion of drug possession. A federal judge denied clemency earlier this week, which was the rapper’s only hope for ‘living his life’ outside of bars in the upcoming days.

The sentence: 11 months, which is four months longer than he was forced to serve the first time around for his 2007 bust on federal weapons charges. Prosecutors were seeking for two additional years added to the sentence, though ultimately were over-ruled.

Like so many celebrities today, wife and fellow arrestee Tameka “Tiny” Cottle flocked to Twitter to tweet on the verdict, tweeting: “Pls send prayers up 4 my husband & our family! & thx 2all that have been, I no whateva happens is God’s will :)”

The rapper has agreed to voluntarily surrender to begin serving his time, though it is not yet known when he will do so.

We thought that old trouble-making you was ‘Dead And Gone’ away T.I.? What’s going on?
