Rapper Lil Wayne Released From Jail

“Aaaaaaahhhhhhmmmmm Baaaaakkkkkkkkkk”, was the long awaited tweet Lil Wayne fans received this Thursday morning. The rapper was finally released from solitary confinement after serving eight months.

The Department Of Corrections spokesman confirmed that the whole operation [release] went incredibly “smooth” and Wanye, real name Dwayne Carter Jr., left the jail “sometime prior to 9 a.m.”

Wayne, who released a Billboard No. 1 album last month, ‘I Am Not a Human Being,’ had spent the tail end of his prison sentence in “punitive segregation,” i.e., solitary, as punishment for sneaking headphones and a charger for an MP3 player into his cell earlier this year.

Free at last, we’re hoping Wayne is out for good, and we’re sure he’ll have a lot to say about his stay on his next album [as the rapper is well-known for voicing his own real-life situations through his music]. Welcome back to the real world Weezy!
