Christina Aguilera To Perform At The Grammys

Looks like Christina Aguilera is going to have a chance to redeem herself when she opens this year’s Grammy Awards. Aguilera will team up with Jennifer Hudson and 3 additional artists who have not yet been announced for a tribute to soul singer Aretha Franklin.

It was also revealed last week that Sir Mick Jagger is to perform at the Grammys for the first time. The Rolling Stones frontman is to take to the stage at the 53rd Grammy Awards as part of a special tribute to soul legend Solomon Burke, best-known for his hit ‘Everybody Needs Somebody to Love,’ who died in October last year at the age of 70. Other performers at this year’s event include Eminem (who is nominated for 10 awards), Katy Perry, and Arcade Fire.

Back to Christina though, as hard as people are being on her about her flub at the Super Bowl, you can’t deny that the girl clearly has mad talent. She has such power behind her voice, and we’re sure that she’ll knock people’s socks off at the Grammys!
